Time of Kings        =

The Renaissance

Israelites Protest against God’s evil Priesthood. They requested a king to rule them instead. 1 Sam 8:4-7

Protestant Reformation After the Great Western Schism, Catholic Christians protested and demanded changes, or reforms in the Christian Church. 1517AD.

God gave the Israelite protesters King Saul who was not of the tribe of Judah. All Israelites who followed King Saul died in the battle. King David of the tribe of Judah later became King of Israel after the protesters were destroyed. God’s selection of King Saul was for this purpose.

Protestant Reformers received from God renewed interest in the Apostle Saul’s gospel of grace. During the Protestant Reformation, the Apostle Paul became the Protestant’s new spiritual king. The words of King Jesus of the tribe of Judah have no place in Paul’s dispensation of grace. The Law of Moses is not required.

After the wars with King Saul, Kings David and Solomon brought new life and posterity to Israel through the observance of much of the Law of Moses.

The kings of England brought the Christian world out of the Dark Ages with the adoption of the Magna Carta. The Magna Carta is somewhat similar to the Law of Moses but it falls short of the glory of God being hindered by Protestant Christian preachers and the doctrines of the dispensation of grace.

David wrote the Psalms, Solomon wrote Proverbs and erected the Temple in Jerusalem.

Handel wrote Messiah, Shakespeare wrote great literature, and Westminster Abbey was erected during this great time of Christian Renaissance.

King Solomon became the greatest king, and Israel the greatest kingdom on earth. All kings came to hear the wisdom of Solomon. 1 Kings 10:23

Due to size, the sun never set on the British Empire. At its zenith, Great Britain ruled broad lands on every continent and island in every ocean. It was the largest, richest, and most powerful empire in the world’s history.
